Terms of participation

Draft for review. This wording was prepared for the founders to approve and has not yet been reviewed by Layla Dean-Verity. It is published so that every link on the site works; treat it as provisional until this notice is removed.

Applications and offers

Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. Offers are made in writing by email and are subject to the deposit being paid by the stated deadline. We may withdraw an offer if the deadline passes.

Fees

The programme fee for 2027 is to be confirmed. The deposit is to be confirmed and is credited against the fee. The balance is due by the date given in your offer. Fees cover tuition, materials, workshops and access to programme venues. Travel, accommodation, visas, insurance, meals outside scheduled events and personal expenses are not included.

Refunds

See the refund policy.

Visas

Participants are responsible for meeting UK entry requirements. We provide an invitation letter and guidance where needed. Visa decisions rest with UK Visas and Immigration and do not change the refund policy.

Programme changes

We may adjust programme content, speakers, venues (including courts and Inns of Court) or scheduling where necessary. Such changes do not create a right to a refund.

Conduct

Participants are expected to observe the etiquette and rules of the venues we visit, including the Inns of Court and the courts. We may remove a participant whose conduct puts the programme or other participants at risk.

Internship track

Any internship is offered at AAI’s sole discretion, is not guaranteed and forms no part of the programme fee.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Contact: info@advocacyai.uk.
