Cohort dates
Applicants select a preference; places are allocated first come, first served.
June to July 2027. Five one-week cohorts, each running Sunday to Friday. Exact 2027 dates are dates to be confirmed; applicants are told their week on acceptance.
Prospectus
The overview sets out the structure, academic approach and experience of the programme. The detailed prospectus follows once an application has been reviewed.
Applications
Applications for 2027 close to be announced. Places are offered on a rolling basis, so early application is encouraged.
Interested in the internship opportunity?
A twelve-week internship opportunity is available exclusively to selected participants of the 2027 AAI Summer Programme.
Once the cohorts have been finalised and deposits confirmed, eligible participants may apply separately to be considered for a paid internship with a boutique London commercial law firm. The internship provides hands-on exposure to professional legal practice, alongside structured training and dedicated mentorship. Awards are made at AAI’s discretion and may be offered to one or more outstanding candidates.
The internship is not guaranteed. Eligibility is limited to participants who successfully complete the programme and who apply through the separate process.
